Meet Mrs. Ingram

This year marks twelve years of teaching. I have been here at Birch Elementary since its opening in 2002. I love teaching fourth grade!
My family is very important to me and I spend most of my free time laughing, traveling, and enjoying life with them.

I have two wonderful children. My daughter, Elli, is nearly eight and is in the second grade this year. My son, Wiley, is six years old and a big first-grader this year. They keep me on my toes!

I am an Idaho girl. I was born and raised in the Gem State and really love all that Idaho has to offer.I attended Boise State University where I graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Multi-Ethnic Studies.
Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. ~Chinese Proverb

After graduating, I decided to spend a year teaching English in Japan. I taught students of all ages, from age two up to retired adults. Japan was wonderful! I looked out of my apartment window everyday to see Mt. Fuji.

Before joining the great teaching team at Birch, I spent one year teaching in a school in Southern Idaho, and one year teaching sixth grade at Vallivue Middle School.

A few of my favorite things:
  • Food - Thai
  • Drink - nonfat sugar-free vanilla latte

  • School Supplies - colorful pens
  • Subjects to teach - Math and Grammar
